Tourists from far away nations....
I made these photos at the Madurai Meenakshi Amman temple! The pics above are of two different groups of foreign tourists who had come to visit India! Had the opportunity to have a lil discussion with a few of them - they were absolutely fascinated by the temple's architecture - why not??
Okey, if u notice closely, in both the pics above there is a guide explaining the history, culture and the related stuff associated with the temple and Tamilnadu itself! U wont beleive how serious the visitors were - taking notes and listening carefully! U know what - at this point in time - they (the visitors) would know more about this temple than we ourselves do :-)
Am not complaining - maybe this would b the otherway round too - that is we may know more about their country than they do - but was just trying to understand......maybe next time when we visit some place even within India, we need to arrange for a guide and know more of the place - was just a thought - what say??? Ofcourse we have those tourists guide books and the internet itself - but I find more repetative and general information in these sources....the guide has more - just thought so - am not sure - any idea???

Piece of Art....hardly anyone cares........!
Made this snap just outside the Giant Meenakshi Amman temple in Madurai, when I was there recently. There are so many precious things, I guess, we have missed to appreciate! Was wandering around the streets and found this piece of art which stands there without any attention......surely this piece of art deserves more attention than it gets now...not only this there are so many other things that are left unseen - un-discovered!
Will b back soon.
